About
An exhibition at the Seoul Arts Center's Calligraphy Museum reinterpreting traditional Korean calligraphy through contemporary art. Working from brush and ink, artist Lee Wan combines script, image, painting, and seal-carving to push at what calligraphy can be — and asks not 'is the writing beautiful' but 'why do we write at all'. A compact, thoughtful show where tradition and contemporary practice meet.
