Ganggyeong was once one of Joseon's three great markets, and its salted-seafood (jeotgal) trade survives as Korea's largest — this riverside festival celebrates that pungent heritage with tastings, kimchi-making with fresh jeotgal, and themed riverside lounges on the Geumgang.
