About
Cheongsong baekja — white porcelain fired here for 500 years from local clay, water, and fire — gets its own festival at the pottery village near Juwangsan National Park. Under the slogan '500 years of history, 500 years of future', the festival mixes exhibitions, sales, wheel-throwing and other hands-on programs, and cultural performances that trace the craft's past and hand it to the next generation. Free entry (some workshops paid), 10:00–19:00. Combine with Juwangsan's rock spires — this is one of Korea's quietest, prettiest counties.
