About
Hoeamsa was the greatest temple of late-Goryeo Korea — King Taejo Yi Seong-gye retreated here — and its excavated site is on UNESCO's tentative list. The festival reenacts the royal procession and governor's welcome, with site-mystery quests, bell experiences, heritage performances, temple-food talks, and healing concerts among the ruins.
