'No going home sober!' — King Jeongjo's famous toast lends its name to this night market at the Paldalmun gate markets in Suwon, held September 5 and 19. Built on the history of the market Jeongjo opened for his people, it fills the streets with food trucks, merchant stalls, and an art market, wrapped in a light story-world: duel the wandering taoist character, hunt hidden talismans, break magical seals. Eat, walk, and photograph your way through a market district that has been trading since the 18th century.
