About
Gyeongju's flagship festival since 1962, now in its 53rd edition, staged among the city's actual Silla monuments. The Hwabaek ceremony reenacts royal history against Woljeonggyo Bridge; a street-arts festival and Silk Road Festa fill the historic quarter; and the Hwarang Hip-hop Festa puts Korea's top hip-hop acts on stage in front of ancient burial mounds — a collision of eras you will only see here. The Moonlight Market adds local food into the night. Free, 15:00–24:00.
