About
In 1444, King Sejong — creator of the Korean alphabet — spent 120 days at the Chojeong springs treating his ailments while continuing affairs of state. The festival celebrates that history at the restored Chojeong Haenggung (temporary palace), on the site of one of the world's three most famous naturally carbonated springs. Court reenactments, wellness programs, and hands-on booths fill the culture park. Free entry (some experiences paid), 10:00–21:00.
