About
Unjusa is one of Korea's most enigmatic temples — the 'valley of a thousand Buddhas and a thousand pagodas', where carved stone figures and towers dot the hillsides and a giant reclining Buddha lies unfinished per its legend. The autumn festival fills the tranquil grounds with bell-ringing, pungmul percussion, multi-genre concerts, temple-wide mission games, and traditional culture programs. Free, 10:00–17:00 — worth the trip for the temple alone.
