About
Goseong on Gangwon's north coast was Korea's pollack capital, and this festival reworks that heritage on the beach at Geojin: a pollack gourmet zone with live chef cooking and cook-it-yourself sessions, fish crafts and games, bare-hand fish catching, a beach playground, and a silent-DJ party on the sand. Residents, soldiers, and students run much of the program themselves. Distributed stages and shuttles keep the beachfront lively all day. Free entry, 11:00–19:00.
