About
Geumjeongsanseong is Korea's largest mountain fortress, ringing the peaks above Busan — and with Geumjeongsan newly designated a national park in 2026, this year's festival celebrates both. Three days of history, culture, and arts programs at the fortress plaza commemorate the wall's construction, blending the mountain's ecology with its military heritage. Running since 1996. Free (some programs paid), 10:00–19:00; combine with the fortress-village makgeolli, a Busan institution.
