A festival behind Daejeon Station, spreading through the east plaza and along the Daedongcheon stream — the gateway to Soje-dong's retro cafe alley and the old railway officials' village. World-food theme booths, all-ages game zones, a streamside 'booknic' of books and rest, a bakery competition (this is the city of bakeries), and chef cooking shows give it an urban, food-forward flavor distinct from Korea's rural festivals.
