About
Donghae's flagship traditional festival, four days at the Wellbeing Leports Town under the theme 'Citizens as one, Donghae leaping anew'. It opens with mountain-spirit and harvest rites, then runs generation-spanning concerts, a citizens' song contest, youth dance festival, navy band and honor-guard shows, special-forces martial-arts demonstrations, and folk performances including Mangsang nongak and the local bridge-treading play. Family zones cover folk games, craft workshops, and children's programs; a local-restaurant tasting vote and lantern-lit night tunnel round out the grounds. Free.
